Plants are the most important source of biological compounds that used to achieve activity. The originating crude extracts plants is broadly as therapeutic drugs treat various infectious damages. present study was arranged investigate potential Alkanna tinctoria Tausch, roots extract, collected from district Bannu, Pakistan in contradiction human pathogenic infections, resistant and antioxidant activities like DPPH (2, 2- diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazy) free radicals scavenging, hydrogen peroxide ABTS [2, 2-azinobis (3- ethylbenzthiazoline-6-sulphonic acid)] scavenging activity phytotoxicity effect. current focused on phytochemical investigation pharmacological methanolic extract tinctoria. plant were examined for assay by using & radicals, Hydrogen peroxide, alpha amylase Phytotoxicity. Ascorbic acid taken standard. Methanolic showed high phenolic contents significant (DPPH, H2O2 ABTS). All concentration also effect found have potential. From findings it concluded methanol antioxidant, anti-diabetic phytotoxic activities. Furthermore, analysis needed its mechanism
